Position Description
The Digital & Demand Generation Internship at Mack Trucks, Inc. offers students immersive, hands-on experience in the world of digital marketing and campaign management. Interns will work closely with the Mack Marketing team to support digital strategy execution, lead generation, and marketing automation across multiple platforms. This internship bridges academic learning and real-world application, fostering skill development in digital marketing channels and tools that drive business growth and brand awareness.
Who are you?
Campaign Execution & Optimization
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of digital campaigns across channels such as email, web, social media, and paid advertising.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver targeted marketing initiatives that support lead generation and funnel engagement.
Marketing Automation & CRM Support
Support the setup, testing, and analysis of marketing automation workflows (e.g., email nurture campaigns).
Assist with data segmentation, list building, and campaign tracking using tools such as Salesforce and Pardot (or related platforms).
Website & Content Management
Help publish, update, and optimize digital content on Mack Trucks’ web properties
Apply SEO best practices to enhance organic visibility and user engagement.
Performance Analytics & Reporting
Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing performance data using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce reports).
Provide insights and recommendations for campaign optimization and improved ROI.
Digital Asset Coordination
Support the development and localization of digital content assets such as landing pages, infographics, banners, and CTAs.
Ensure all digital assets adhere to brand guidelines and marketing goals
Essential Skills & Required Experience:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship. You must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Technical & Digital Tool Proficiency
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement a plus)
Experience or coursework in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
Working knowledge of Google Analytics and digital performance metrics
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) experience is a plus
Web content management is a bonus
Ability to edit content according to social media best practices

For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $16.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study.
