What you will do

As an Advanced Engineer (AE) Product Architect, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our business by engaging in long-term transport solution studies. This role requires a creative thinker who is not afraid to challenge existing limitations and push the boundaries of innovation, contributing to the development of cutting-edge and sustainable solutions for the transportation industry. This position will drive several complex technology development projects with multiple objectives towards a significant business impact.

Specific tasks include:

• Lead advanced transport solutions studies for North America

• Develop a long-term vision for strategic applications

• Identify the critical targets and gaps for new technologies

• Lead cross-functional teams effectively, with both internal and external resources, with result driven attitude

• Management of innovative projects

• Balance features and systems performance to achieve project goals

• Identify systems and architecture decisions to be achieved during project and prepare for decisions with facts and clearly defined alternatives

• Integrate project activities with Platform Team, identifying critical architecture areas where change is required

• Anticipate and draft product variation to cover the applications selected and anticipate impact on industrial and aftermarket operations

• Good understanding of vehicle dynamics systems and chassis concepts

Additional Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering

• 10+ years of experience in product development within the automotive industry

• Experience in conducting architecture studies

• Project management experience is a plus
